Our commitment

Emeritas is committed to making our services accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We are working toward compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level and continuously improving the experience for everyone.

What we are doing

  • Adding proper labels and IDs to all form fields so screen readers and browser autofill work correctly
  • Ensuring sufficient color contrast across all pages
  • Supporting keyboard navigation throughout the evaluation process
  • Providing text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Announcing step transitions in our intake questionnaire to screen readers via live regions
  • Respecting the prefers-reduced-motion setting for users who are sensitive to motion

Known limitations

We are aware of accessibility gaps in our multi-step intake forms and the Dual Pathway Assessment page, and are actively working to resolve them. If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from using any part of Emeritas, please contact us so we can provide an accommodation or alternative.
